Nasal Endoscopy with Debridement

During a nasal endoscopy, our physicians at the NYSI have the experience, skills, and specialized instruments to perform in-office debridements. This is a procedure during which blood clots, crusts, pus, and debris are removed from the nose and sinuses. This is a common procedure during the initial visits after sinus surgery to prevent scar tissue formation, infection, and symptoms.

Patients are carefully anesthetized using a low-reactive safe topical (non-injectable) spray. Once anesthetized, specialized instrumentation is used to perform the procedure while assuring maximal patient comfort.
